We believe that developing vacant land in historically marginalized areas builds wealth, and strengthens communities that have been affected by systematic injustices. Creating homeownership in these communities addresses the pressing need for more affordable housing in the cities that need it, and eliminates blight. We believe that repopulating communities is the basis of stronger neighborhoods. More invested residents in neighborhoods reduce crime, build stronger neighborhoods and schools, attract more businesses, bring more resources and amenities, and build a better, more appealing city.
